Terms and Conditions

Payment Schedule

Confirmation Deposit: 10% (refundable up to 60 days prior to arrival)
Final Balance 60 days prior to arrival: 90% (non-refundable)
Security deposit: 300 € (the security deposit can be paid in advance or on arrival and will be returned via bank transfer after departure)
Eco-tax: 2.00 €/night/person 16 years and over.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation must be made in writing by the lead guest.
Free cancellation up to 60 days prior to arrival.
A cancellation charge of 100% of the total price is payable for cancellations within 60 days before arrival.

Booking

The person placing the booking is reserving directly with the owner of the property through La Villa Company, an intermediary for the marketing and rental management of tourist rentals.

The person placing the booking must be over 25 years of age and accept personal responsibility for all members of the party against misuse or mistreatment of the property that may result in damage to the property through intentional or negligent behaviour. Should guests behave in a manner that is unacceptable by civilized standards we will ask the party to vacate the accommodation.

All guests are obliged to complete the required Passport or ID information prior to arrival in accordance with Spanish legislation Real Decreto 933/2021, de 26 de octubre.

Occupancy

The number of guests must not exceed the maximum sleeping capacity permitted in the property description unless prior arrangement and approval have been granted by La Villa Company. Breach of these conditions may result in the cancellation of the rental contract without compensation.

Pets are not permitted in any of our properties.

Smoking in the interior of properties is prohibited.

Parties or events in the interior or exterior of the property are prohibited.

We reserve the right to enter and inspect the property in the case of misuse or damage caused by intentional or negligent behaviour.

Insurance

Guests must arrange adequate travel insurance that covers cancellation, loss of property, illness, and damage or injury sustained during the rental period. The property is excluded from any liability for material or personal damage that could result from the misuse of the property or exterior areas.

Guests are responsible for the safety of those using the swimming pool. Small children and non-swimmers must be supervised around the swimming pool area at all times.

Security Deposit

The security deposit is mandatory to cover any breakages, loss or damage to the property and installations. Any claim will be supported by photographs or estimates for repair or replacement.

Any breakages, loss or damage must be reported to us immediately.

Date Amendments

In the case that a guest needs to amend travel dates after confirmation, we will endeavour to accommodate when possible. Any extra charges for alternative dates will be payable and shortened stays will be considered as part cancellation.

Alterations by La Villa Company

Alterations to confirmed reservations are unlikely, however, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, for example, major damage to installations, major works in the area, impending sale, etc. may result in the property becoming unavailable. We will inform guests as soon as possible and offer an alternative property of the same category. If this is not possible or guests do not accept the alternative offered, the reservation will be cancelled and all payments refunded.

Access to the Property

Access to the property is from 3pm on the day of arrival and the property must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

If guests have an early arrival or a late departure time please inform us and we will do our best to accommodate when possible.

We reserve the right to deduct supplementary charges from the security deposit if the property is not vacated at the stipulated time.

24 Hour Contact Telephone Number

Guests will be provided with a 24 emergency contact number for out of office hours. This number is for emergencies only.

Services Included

The property is furnished and equipped for self-catering for the maximum capacity stated in the property description.

The property will be clean upon arrival with bed linen and bath towels for all guests. Pool/beach towels are not included.

Pool and garden maintenance are included and will visit the property twice weekly. Guests must allow access to the exterior of the property.

Problems with Equipment or Installations

Guests must report any problems with the equipment or installations to La Villa Company via e-mail, telephone or Whatsapp and we will resolve the problem as soon as possible.

We cannot be held responsible for the mechanical breakdown of any equipment or installations in the property, however, we will act quickly to contact the corresponding technician and fix any arising problems as soon as possible.

We will not be responsible for any technical or service provider problems with the internet connection in the property, however, we will contact the necessary departments to restore the connection as quickly as possible.

The inconvenience of repairs during a guest’s stay is not grounds for compensation.

In the unlikely event of complete failure of the basic supplies, guests will be offered similar or superior accommodation or a refund for the remaining period of the stay.

Disturbances and Noise

Noise and disturbances proceeding from outside the property are beyond our control.

We are not held responsible for any disturbance or noise caused by climate, flora, fauna, or neighbouring properties. Should a problem arise, we will try our best to stop or lessen the discomfort for our guests.

Extra equipment (cot, highchair, bed guard, etc)

Guests must request any extras at the time of reservation to ensure that we can provide the requested items. In some cases, there may be an extra charge for these items.

Departure

Guests are asked to leave the property in the same condition found upon arrival and to return any furniture to its original location.

Dishes, cutlery and kitchen utensils must be left clean.

Rubbish and rubbish bags must be deposited in the public rubbish containers.

Each property has a designated number of cleaning hours included after a guest’s departure.

If the property is left in inadequate conditions and additional cleaning is required the extra cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit.

Complaints / Claims

Every effort has been made to ensure that our properties meet the needs of our guests. However, in the case of any grievance during your stay, it is essential that guests inform La Villa Company immediately and allow us to resolve the problem as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Any grievances reported after the guest’s stay will not be considered for compensation.
